Step-by-Step Instructions for Bankruptcy Forms
When the court won't help you, Nolo will!
Courts
provide free bankruptcy forms, but good luck asking for help filling
them out. Most court clerks will say they can't help you -- because
that would be "practicing law."
Go figure. The government will help you fill
out tax forms (it offers comprehensive instructions and free phone help for
that), but prohibits court staff from giving
instructions for completing bankruptcy forms. If you think this makes no
sense, you're right.
Fortunately, for less than $30, you can
buy Nolo's

forms required to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Warning -- Only
the 14th edition of this book is current. Older Editions are Out of Date: Some
