  • Maryland Minimum Wage:  
    • The minimum wage in Maryland is $15 an hour. Because this is higher than the federal minimum wage of $7.25, employees in Maryland must be paid at least $15 an hour.

      Prince Georges County Minimum Wage

      The minimum wage in Prince Georges County is $11.50 an hour. Because this is lower than Maryland's current minimum wage, employees in Prince George's county are entitled to the state minimum wage.
