When the court won't help you, Nolo will!

Courts provide free bankruptcy forms, but good luck asking for help filling them out. Most court clerks will say they can't help you -- because that would be "practicing law."

Go figure. The government will help you fill out tax forms (it offers comprehensive instructions and free phone help for that), but prohibits court staff from giving instructions for completing bankruptcy forms. If you think this makes no sense, you're right.
