If you don't have a lawyer, the Marin Family Court offers programs to help you understand court forms, procedures, and what is happening in court hearings. When possible, the family court also provides services for people whose first language is not English. The Legal Self Help Services office is located in the Civic Center Hall of Justice, Room C-27. Family Court Clerk:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. excluding court holidays

Legal Self Help Services:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
To ensure the office can serve you, you must arrive no later than 45 minutes before closing time.
